Juliette Lilly, a Society of Master Saddlers qualified saddler and fitter, brings a selection of new and used saddles directly to your yard. She takes time to understand your horse’s needs, your riding goals, and your budget, before assessing both horse and rider. With the right information in advance, she arrives prepared with options tailored to your specific requirements, saving you time and effort. We now use a system called Equigate. This allows you to have access to reports and templates each time we do a saddle fit. This can also link with physio and vet reports.

Fittings are ideally done on flat ground, and if you don’t have access to a riding arena, we offer our own arena at no extra charge. Many adjustments can be made on-site, ensuring better comfort and performance. Juliette is known for her honesty—if your current saddle can be made to fit, she won’t pressure you to replace it unnecessarily.

She’ll walk you through leather types, styles, disciplines, and budgets. If needed, made-to-measure saddles can be ordered and fitted upon delivery. We also stock a wide range of second-hand saddles, and Juliette can make minor flocking adjustments on-site to ensure an ideal fit for you and your horse.

As a qualified professional trained at the Saddlery Training Centre in Salisbury, Juliette follows strict industry standards. She is fully insured and encourages clients to ask for credentials or references. We are also involved in ongoing research to better understand saddle-related issues and design improvements.
